Ceramic Foundation Modern Apprenticeships offer quality training to ceramic industry standards. They are designed by employers, for employers, so they ensure that young people have the skills that employers need. Ceramic Foundation Modern Apprenticeships demand the full commitment of everyone involved. If you succeed in becoming a Foundation Modern Apprentice you will receive a training agreement which will set out what is expected of both you and your employer. You will also have an individual training plan that will set out each stage of your training and where you can expect that training to take place. How long you take to complete your Ceramic Foundation Modern Apprenticeship will depend upon your needs and the progress you make. At the end of the training scheme, successful candidates will gain a Ceramic NVQ Level 2. You receive the training through hands on experience, the NVQ is assessed in the work place once you are competent in your chosen career. This means you will not attend college or sit exams, and you will gain a training allowance while you work towards your NVQ. |
