The development of young people for the future success of the ceramic industry is becoming increasingly important. The involvement of employers at an early stage of this development has never been so crucial.

With this in mind ACTD, as the National Training Organisation for the ceramic industry, has worked with employers to update the two work-based training schemes for young people:  the Foundation Modern Apprenticeship (previously known as the National Traineeship); and the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.  These initiatives link work based training to the achievement of qualifications.
